Flexible Lean Six Sigma Certificate to Prepare for Green Belt Status

Through this Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certificate, you’ll learn how to address the objectives of each of the five DMAIC methodology steps (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) through data-based decision-making and statistical analysis. Gain a broad understanding of the Six Sigma improvement methodology as you prepare to earn Six Sigma Green Belt status. Green Belts focus on gathering data and executing experiments that support Black Belt projects. As a Green Belt, you will know how to successfully deploy Six Sigma techniques to lead small-scale improvement projects within your respective area.

Through our Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certificate, you will:

Highlight: Optional Green Belt Certification

For an additional $250 fee, Bryant can award you with your Green Belt Certification upon successfully applying Lean Six Sigma principles to a project. Green Belt candidates must complete the Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certificate or obtain equivalent experience before submitting their projects for review and approval.

Course Requirements

This five-week, self-paced course includes guided learning with multimedia, curated readings, and interactive discussions. Discussion posts are due on Mondays and all other deliverables are due on Saturdays. Expect approximately seven hours of work per week.

First-time online learner? “Strategies for Success” is a one-week module that will familiarize you with our learning system before you begin your certificate program and ensure you are ready to participate. Required for all first-time, self-paced Bryant learners.

Jud VanWyk has 30+ years of experience as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He has experience leading Six Sigma globalization efforts, ensuring a consistent and effective strategy worldwide. He has provided strategic guidance in the launch of Lean Six Sigma initiatives at numerous firms and has supported a diverse range of clients with deployment, project selection, curriculum development, training, and coaching. A graduate of Macalester College and the University of Minnesota, he holds degrees in mathematics and chemical engineering.
