Through our Project Management Certificate, you will:

  • Analyze the role of project management in contemporary organizations.
  • Evaluate the various project management models, including an overview of the Agile model.

  • Describe, in detail, the key components of the 5 Phases of every project: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure.
  • Prepare for the CAPM® or PMP® exam.

Course Requirements

This five-week, instructor-led course includes weekly 3-hour class sessions offered via Zoom, with approximately four additional hours of supplemental reading and assignments.  

After successfully completing this course, you’ll receive the Project Management Certificate. Current project management professionals will earn the 35 educational hours needed to sit for PMI certification.

Meet Your Instructor: Jeremy Kauffman

Jeremy Kauffman is a Certified Project Management Professional and currently holds the position of director of the IT Project Management Office for Waters Corporation. He brings years of experience as an accomplished project and portfolio leader, spearheading organizational transformation and scaling efforts for IT project skill sets in Traditional (PMBOK) and various Agile methodologies. He has taught at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels since 2011. He holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts with a focus on IT leadership and a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management from Bryant University.
