Project managers are essential change agents within any organization. As a project manager, you take ownership of project objectives and help foster a collective sense of purpose among project teams. As you prepare for the PMP® or CAPM® exam with our PMP training course, taught by a certified PMP® instructor, you can tackle the best approaches for agile, iterative, and adaptive environments — and better understand the human side of project management.

Through our Project Management Certificate, you will:

  • Analyze the role of project management in contemporary organizations.
  • Evaluate the various project management models, including an overview of the Agile model.
  • Utilize the critical project management terminology used throughout the PMBOK® and PMP® exams.
  • Describe, in detail, the key components of the 5 Phases of every project: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure.

Course Requirements

This five-week, instructor-led course includes weekly 3-hour class sessions offered via Zoom, with approximately four additional hours of supplemental reading and assignments.  

After successfully completing this course, you’ll receive the Project Management Certificate. Current project management professionals will earn the 35 educational hours needed to sit for PMI certification.

First-time online learner? “Strategies for Success” is a one-week module that will familiarize you with our learning system before you begin your certificate program and ensure you are ready to participate. Required for all first-time, self-paced Bryant learners.

Meet Your Instructor: Jeremy Kauffman, MBA, PMP

Jeremy Kauffman, PMP, is Director of the IT PMO at Waters Corporation. He leads organizational transformation and scales IT project capabilities across PMBOK and Agile methods. Teaching since 2011, he brings deep expertise to undergrad, grad, and professional learners. He holds an MBA in IT Leadership and a BS in International Business Management.
