Coaching in the Workplace is an introductory course for managers to learn about coaching as a managerial tool that supports employee performance. Coaching is a powerful tool to add to your traditional management practices to further enhance employee productivity and motivation. In this course, you’ll learn how coaching differs from traditional management techniques, how to recognize when coaching is most appropriate, and how to assess the effectiveness of these techniques. Learning will be reinforced through role play and reflection.

Course Requirements

This five-week, self-paced course includes guided learning, interactive discussions and curated readings. Expect to spend approximately six hours of work per week. Discussion posts are due on Mondays and all other deliverables are due on Saturdays. 

First-time online learner? “Strategies for Success” is a one-week module that will familiarize you with our learning system before you begin your certificate program and ensure you are ready to participate. Required for all first-time, self-paced Bryant learners.
