Course Requirements
This eight-week, self-paced course includes guided learning with multimedia, interactive modules, and curated readings. Expect approximately 6-7 hours of work per week.
First-time online learner? “Strategies for Success” is a one-week module that will familiarize you with our learning system before you begin your certificate program and ensure you are ready to participate. Required for all first-time, self-paced Bryant learners.
Meet Your Instructor: Lisa Anne Blakeley
Lisa Anne Blakeley, AHIT, COC, CPC, CRC, CPC-I, is a supervisor in the Billing Compliance Department at Boston Medical Center and serves as the president of the New Bedford Chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders. She educates new providers on medical record documentation, coding, and Medicare/Medicaid billing regulations. Previously, she served as a professional audit manager with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where she managed 12 senior auditors. Blakeley has worked in numerous areas educating providers in evaluation and management, ICD-10-CM, and risk adjustment.
